I played someone recently with no flag shown. But when I clicked on the flag it said “Russia “.
What does this mean?
Are they From Russia but not flying the Russian flag? Or did chess.com hide their flag?

Chess.com has changed the Russian flag to a totally blue flag. If you click at it, it directs you to this site : https://www.chess.com/blog/CHESScom/on-the-invasion-of-ukraine

If Russian players don’t want to play under that flag they can change it themselves.
For me, if someone chooses to play under the Russian flag, I don’t want to play them. I think it sucks that chess.com hides this.
