Of course there's a possibility, no matter how remote, that the current predictions of global warming could be wrong. Scientists have never claimed to be infallible. We know a whole lot more about world climate than we did back at the time when many predicted a global cooling. The data does suggest warming trend and that many is responsible for it. Our atmosphere is not an infinite resource and does get polluted with the chemicals we pour into it the world over.
Man-made pollution is a somewhat different issue. And an important one. If a cleaner environment is an important goal, then pressure should be brought to bear on the ChiComs.

In Gore's defense, he is not a hypocrite. He is a democrat where they always tell us "do as I say, not what I do."
