Why dont you use blunts instead? Are they illegal in Felipelandia?

Will I get privileges for supporting this campaign?

The fact that this "fantasy" has gone on for 8+ pages is a testiment to how undestanding/patient the staff and mods are.

Why would they delete this?

It is just a testiment of how staff/mods work for the community and dont want 15 million users rebeling against them.

MEMBEREMPOWEREMENT.

They shouldnt delete it, as long as it follows chess.com guidelines.

Its comedy, and should be taken as such.

Seeing how membership keeps climbing, I dont think any changes are needed.  But member input is always welcome.

I want to change the lyrics of "Another brick in the Wall" (Pink Floyd) so that they match Trump's opinion...

We don't need no immigration

We don't need no border control

No more Latins in our country

Mexicans leave us alone...

All in all just put another brick in the wall.

Yes, they are. Now I understand why you moved to Jamaica.

There was one duckyish account which matched him quite well, but it was closed for fair play, and I can't remember the exact name.

Im planning on moving on to some country in Africa so I can take control of it, you know, civil wards make wonders.

I always puke when I hear that low song, it is so naca it hurts, literally no rythm, no deepness in the lyrics, just some stupid British media creation.

Those pink nubs should learn from actual rock bands.

Ok... I'll reveal the answer to the joke. As a reminder, the question was:

A drill sergeant asks a new recruit, "What is a troll's favorite month of the year?" How does to recruit respond?

And the answer is ...

May, Sir! Get it? Tongue Out

Ok, I'll admit it's not a great joke, but hopefully at least a few people get a chuckle from it.

What's your stance on v2 v v3?

That is an interesting question, and one that I'm surprised hasn't come up earlier. My view on V3 is that its development has been a huge waste of time, and a sham that the staff put up to make it seem like they are working on making chess.com better, when in fact they are doing nothing to effect real change. As a staff member, I will abandon the V3 project immediately, and put the manpower and other resources currently employed in the task to better use, by reassigning them to the tasks of banning GMs, increasing ratings for everyone, and all of the other goals that I have set forth in my platform.

Sounds like you want to run the place, not just be within staff.

That is something that I have also started to think about as this campaign has progressed - will I be able to realize all of our movement's goals as a staff member? Ultimately, I'm not particular about titles, positions, etc. My purpose is to make chess.com a better place for the community, and make sure that the voice of the people finally has a say in how this place is run. I will do whatever I need to do to achieve that purpose, whether it is running for staff member, or an even higher position. I will not stop - and the people will never let me stop - until our movement achieves complete success, and whatever position I end up in at that time, I will be happy with it.

Well... by participating in this movement, you have an opportunity to make your voice heard, and contribute your thoughts on how we can change this place for the better. In terms of privileges over other people ... no. The chess.com community is built on equality, so no one should have any privileges that other members of the community do not have (with the exception of titled players, of course, who have enjoyed far too many unjust privileges in the past, and will be subject to certain reasonable restrictions in the future once I become a staff member).

BronsteinPawn

Have you read "The Prince"

I havent, but Im pretty sure Maquiavelo talks about how abuse is requiered to correctly rule over someone.

Maquiavelo sounds like a nasty fellow!

Seriously though, the masses of chess.com have endured more than their fair share of abuse. They want nothing more than to be emancipated from the yokes of the chess.com elite - and once become a staff member they will!

BronsteinPawn

Yeah, Maquiavelo was nasty, he liked to write with his own poop on the walls in his prision cell.

macer75

So, what do people think of the joke?

BronsteinPawn

Do you really want to work for chess.com after this?

I've seen that article, but I'm not concerned about it, because I'm not in this for myself. I am running for chess.com staff to represent the will of the people, and the will of the people will propel me onward regardless of what personal difficulties I may have to face in the process. I will not stop, and I will not be stopped, until our movement has achieved complete success.

BronsteinPawn

ok.
