What if the imposter tells everyone to stay together? Then by your logic, you wouldn't be able to pinpoint which person is the imposter. A good crewmate would hit the emergency meeting and risk the vote. You can't save a game at 4 players with 1 imposter. The best you can do is make a collected guess at who you think the imposter is

what if the imposter agrees to stick together?
He could then wait until everyone was far away from oxygen, hit the oxygen sabotage, let everyone split into groups of 2, and then kill them off with the pair he's with
people won't have enough time to fix them both and they'll panic
Then it will be easy, when you find the body then it will stop the sabo, then all you need to do is find who was with you, the other one is the imposter

Unless the game was altered, the kill cooldown is faster than the amount of time it takes for a crewmate to walk over to you and report the body, and a double kill will occur, and the game will be over
