What is the latest on "Axanar"?

RonaldJosephCote

IDK, I haven't heardFrown  but here is a suggestion for everyone. With 4000 posts this thread is getting a little hard to load. How about weEmbarassed or the OP start a new one and call it, Star Trek II  ....?Undecided   We can open it on the release date of Axanar!Smile

Commander_Riker

The Official word is the first half of 2016 for full release. That said there is no way the Fan Funded Axanar will be released around the same time as the Paramount schedule of sequel of Into Darkness Star Trek (Star Trek Beyond) due to release June 2016.

I was thinking the release date was around September. I hope it is the fisrt half of this year.

Hey, RJC. You must be on dial-up, dude. I'm loading this page with no problem. But, hey, I'm good with a new thread to carry on this topic.

Commander_Riker

Indeed my page loads in less then a second.

They are just finishing the new sets they had to build and got a lot in an auction from the Ender's Game (Very Good Movie). They have not even started filming yet so last half of 2016 would be my guess. I donated money to Avatar so I get a weekly newsletter :)

Hey! I'm WINNING! I'm the BIGGEST FAN OF STAR TREK!

I emailed Axanar and a couple of other indies and offered my assistance in the CGI/art/SFX department. Not that they need me, but when you are trying to produce a big budget non-profit film, free help is not a bad thing. Especially when I know how to do this stuff. Haven't gotten an answer yet. Probably won't. But it doesn't hurt to offer.

Indeed you have the talent and they would be better off to have your help. They may answer but of course they are most interested in donations. Close to a million so far but how much does Paramount spend on a Star Trek film Into darkness 185 million big difference there ??

Indeed Great to see the Captain back. BTW check out his Blog post very enlightened.

Really Ronny I never would have guessed that : Mirtazapine is an antidepressant. It affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with depression.

BTW my wife takes it also I get xanax but the Dr will not prescribe xanax to women over 50 I have no idea why ??
