Me I look out for my brain conceptualising problems .

How do you know that's not an anchor in the same way as observing your breathing is?

Also Estren you talk about it being unhealthy to go to the beach and observe thinking .

I'm guessing you wouldn't particularly have a problem with people going to the beach to mediate .

None of you have actually tried what I've done so I can't see how you can definitively say whether it's meditation or not .

I do focus on something . The absence / presence of the cognition of a problem .

Nikprit thank you for leaving your words as I enjoyed reading .

I agree Troy that I'm not sure any of my thoughts are particularly helpful but what I am sure of is the fact it's helpful to let go of worrying .

Anyway I'm going to do me a little mediation/mindfulness/observing thought . Whatever the heck you would describe it as guys .

Since none of you have actually tried it you don't have a clue anyway .

I agree absolutely with Troy in his assessments but I'm not sure whether or not I would subscribe to troy's or Nikprit's views on the way to enlightenment. Perhaps there's truth to both positions .

Sa you'll do for me and the same to everyone else here too .

You know I was thinking this morning , though I have doubts about what I is , I have no doubt at all I am love and for that reason I'm always comfortable here no matter what anyone says and whatever you guys think or see I've had my share of criticism !

I hope I've always been polite though and I've never deliberately upset anyone .

Time is never planned . Interesting. Time just exists .

It's the causality chain that causes the wonder . Like what happened before the Big Bang ?

Do you ever think about deep water fish,in the open ocean? The temperature is always the same (perfect). You can live for 100 years and never bump into anything. Just floating in your perfect environment;nothing ever changing. Just right.

Wow what a terrific image . I think that it's true that a balance exists . I think it was Troy and I misquote so I apologise in advance that said we want a permanent truth as we can't accept death . But just like that water is ever perfect I believe a law of creation and destruction exist in equal measures . Atrophy being the destruction.

That image is a bit like imagining a hand clapping . One hand .

I think I might take a look into that whole time thing . Check out the science .

I was thinking . Hawking talked about a universe being one of many . But maybe they haven't any real connection with each other .

He stated that in the beginning things were at a quantum level and indicated that the Big Bang in our universe has only happened the once.

I suppose if you see each universe as self contained the idea of a perfect balance of energy between matter and natural forces seems possible .

And that time didn't exist pre the Big Bang because things were quantum .

If some people choose to Substitute, the 'universe'..'energy'.. or other vaguely, to similar, deliniations for 'God' - Which convey some degree of 'in-the-same-ballpark' meaning - I No longer have a problem with that! ..{see 'image-quote' below} -- Given, that we All come from different Starting points and perceptions!  0:
