I've had an idea...What if only people after the age of fifty would be allowed to have cars, the bus, train, plane tickets would be made much cheaper, and then there is always bicycles, horses and legs. There would be much less air pollution, and accidents. What do you think of this idea?

Yeah. I agree, self-driving ecological cars will be the future and will replace all of this before it really matters for us to figure it out with current technology. At that point it might even make sense that rural areas flourish even more since transportation will be cheaper, easier, etc.

I hope that it develops that way but the jobs, culture and young people seem to go with the cities and it becomes faster and faster for now. We will see

Well there are voics, that to manufacture a self driving car isn't much better ecologically than to drive in a normal one.
