prove me wrong. You may say that butterflies don't have enough neurons to provide a stream of thought. That is true, however how do you know that fact? You need to trust your senses. How could you trust your senses when you are dreaming?

Maybe your seeing a black screen. Who knows? You can't trust your senses. Prove me wrong.

It's true. Sometimes there are glitches in the matrix.

That had been perhaps the worst realization I had reached.

That what true reality is will remain forever unsure to me.

That I cannot be sure any of you exist.

All I have against this is to believe and to forget.

If it was a dream, I would not read "ur" but you're. Since it's "ur", it's a nightmare, not a dream.

Easy, simple, short, efficient. Proved you wrong.

Maybe ur reading wrong.... you cannot trust your senses.

How to tell if you're not dreaming, if you're not in the matrix, if you're not part of a 80's sitcom etc. Very dumb questions that fall in to the category of useless skepticism and most of them are unfalsifiable. My favorite though is the theory everything in existence was created last Thursday. Fortunately the "dream argument" can be disproven via the philosophy of language and more importantly Wittgenstein's private language argument in his book Philosophical investigations. Which for further reference was written last Thursday.
