    so, nowadays what do you suggest to watch a tv series??

    I strongly recommend Amazing Police Chases 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9. Cops, Forensic Files, Snapped, True Detective, Law and Order SVU, Cold Case Files, Body of Evidence (the true files of FBI profiler Dale Hinman), Jail, Busted on Camera, and the First 48.

    Seriously, I prefer to spend my time out of doors, but I have to say if I think of it  I enjoy watching "Lie to me". Mainly cause I like that actor from Resevoir Dogs.

    I think I heard it may be discontinued. I like the stories , but my favorite part is when the identify a particuliar "tic (sp?) they show a famous person (generally a politician) producing the same tic......i e billy boy "I did not have sex with that woman"

    The only other thing I watched was the Shield...but it was pretty intense.

    Modern Family if you are looking for comedy.

    Parenthood for a good family drama.

    The Walking Dead is an awesome (and underrated) horror series on AMC.  Season two starts in October.  Season 1 is available on Blu-Ray and DVD now.  Its worth a look.

    You're better off staring at the wall alone with your own thoughts.  The negative effects of television cannot be understated.

    What do you mean?  I have the tv on n the bakgound now and i don see no negitive affects.  My mynd is shart as a tak.

    I hear that.
    I only get about fifteen channels and the only one worth watching is Public Television....sometimes. I'm getting quite a dvd collection though.

    I must confess... I've been watching "True Blood"... it is hilarious. Southern vampires, faeries, werewolves, witches, shape shifters... what's not to love. I need a bottle of O negative... please.
