They were omnivores. Even though they’re mainly herbivores now, their evolutionary history allows them to eat meat too.
But again, they weren’t meant to just eat meat, because they were omnivores.

Someone who prefers meat can eat it instead of the vegan...so it won't go to waste lol. Also people do care that eating meat is wrong there's a lot of people and no I'm not one of them don't know why you got so mad though over a preference
