i have an idea, reasearch your country and tell about it's participation in world war 2. The us was neutral until the japenese attacked Pearl Harbor. Then, we lanted in North africa and helped british beat the Africa Korps. Alongside British and Canadians, U.S invaded Normandy and quickly invaded germany w help from soviet union. we dropped atomic bombs on japan to end the war
we also took over italy and made them join us
Think this thread is a little insensitive on such an international site. (And to be honest, your account of history is rather simplistic).
well i could tell you every thing that the U.S did, but that would take too long. I'm just giving you a summary. and good job defending against the luftwaffe
any people from axis powers want to post?
The Swiss were neutral, but many Jews and "Non-Aryans" fled to Switzerland.

I trust you did not do much history at school ? Can we call in an expert here on WW2 please ?
I do know that the US was giving aid to the UK long before Pearl Harbour.And that if it wasn't for help from the Polish (and others) during the Battle of Britain (and an error from the German airforce) Operation Sealion would have meant the UK would have been in Nazi hands long before the US could have 'come to our rescue'.
Films such as Saving Private Ryan don't help.Ted Danson's character says 'Monty is over rated' at one point ! This line added nothing to the story....have you watched any British war films that say 'Patton was over rated' ?
If you want a quick history of WW2 then watch The World At War.Nothing comes close to explaining what really happened.
Chief_Brody has the real good point about this, get the the videobox that he mentions, I've seen it and it's probably the best and most accurate documentation of those horrible times.
I'm old enough to remember WWII, I was 7 years old when the war ended. Living in Norway, I still remember the German occupation and soldiers in the streets and all.. However no actual fighting except for the destruction by American and British bomber planes of the german battleship "Tirpitz" outside my hometown Tromso in Northern Norway in 1944..
Sweden was neutral during the war..
But.., how neutral could small countries in Europe be in times like those..?
the U.S.A gave britain naval support, weapons and equipment. also helping Angland win the battle of britain was the deciphering of the enigma code, which was helped by polish.
also, when i say neutral, that means that America was not fighting anyone
the world at war seems to have about an hour for each episode. that makes it take 26 hours, meaning it takes more than 1 day to watch it. i don't have the time to watch it.

You want help with research but are not prepared to even 'watch' 26 episodes which alone would help you a great deal ?

no, we don't want war with serbia, we NEED to have it to help kosovo gain independence. if you haven't heard bush only has 1 year left in office. No more politics!!!

well, we have to protect one side or the other, and we chose kosovo to help gain independence. this is probably because america was trying to gain independence from england

i heard that every country in the world was affected by world war 2, even the neutral ones. Can you help me reasearch what all those countries did?
