Hi there...

i inadervantly paid for a premium version after thinking payal was going to allow me to confirm after finding out how much in british pounds.

 

Now, i believe i have 30 days to cancel this membership.  Where to I cancel premium service to get full refund, while continuing with basic membership.  The only things I can see is to cancel future membership, and not get refund....

How to I cancel current membership to get full refund?

I've already canceled the auto renewal so it doesn't happen again.

how can I cancel the auto renewal? I have just become a gold member to see domo options, but I don't want to pay every year.

Because your account has recently updated, you can either leave it as platinum for another year, or go into the 'premium upgrade' page, click on gold monthly/yearly and the remaining money will be turned into months and added to the length of gold time you get.

Hi. I wanted to upgrade to Platinum membership but selected Diamond by mistake. I switched to Platinum the same day and would like to get the odd money back. Please tell me what I should do.

The money auto changes to time added onto the platinum you have now. I don't think its possible for you to get the difference back now in money sorry.

The forums really shouldn't be used for refund requests, can I ask that you please submit a ticket using this http://support.chess.com/Tickets/Submit

selecting 'Billing & premium memberships' to request the refund if you haven't already done so, and haven't already received it.

This is what should happen and what you should see :

On this page https://support.chess.com/

top right corner click where it shows 'Contact'

It opens this page https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new

where you fill out the information about the issue. After filling out all of the boxes, click the orange send button at the bottom and this window should then appear http://grab.by/vrMg

That last page/window http://grab.by/vrMg  has the final 'Send Message' button on it that is needed in order to submit the form to us, without it the ticket won't send. Thats also the page/window that many with the 'can't contact support' issues are having
