Is there anything Chess.com can do against agressive people on the chat ? i received for the 2nd time insults on the chat, from players i don't know, for no reason :)
Durdek

am i the only one to experience this wonderful experience ?

there is a player called [public accusations not allowed-- VP], english according to the flag, he won a few games and then started to insult. i strongly recommend to avoid playing with him, he was rude and childish.

a good insult was made against me, but it's ok. let others view, either for humor or for others to see human behavior in action. life is an experience.

DrSpudnik

Some people are not capable of losing a game of chess without venting idiotic insults at their opponent, who only took advantage of the opportunities given by the lame moves of the insult-throwing member.  It's best to just avoid them and move on.

ghost_of_pushwood

they're probably just jerks anyway!

ghost_of_pushwood

And I've got a feeling GM is one of those "I don't mind losing cuz it's a learning experience" guys.

ghost_of_pushwood

It was probably croquet.  I mean, there had to be some reason for croquet.

ghost_of_pushwood

Sorry, but I don't really see what that has to do with croquet.

ghost_of_pushwood

Only if the nips somehow proceeded directly from the venerable lawn game.

DrSpudnik

All embryos start as female. Thus the fun-buttons.

GMproposedsolutions

there ain't no such thing as a free lunch

ghost_of_pushwood

Fortunately though, there is such a thing as a nutrition-free lunch.

congrandolor

One insult now and then doesn't hurt. Think about it as a vaccine. It prepares you for real frustration.

Folks who yell "troll" are the very troll signing their own post.
