auto resign

captn77
Seems a lot of players when they make a mistake or know they are going to lose, just walk away from the game being played. The auto-resign needs to faster.

Thank
dereklu

Maybe their internet connection is  lost suddenly. Recently, I often met this problem.

I'm with captn77. These players are just walking away. Do something about this. Why should anyone pay money to a site that allows this behavior?

Captn and Kreegs u can win chess games with those ratings? I'd say it's just poor Internet, tsunami or earthquake. It's their time they can do what they want with it anyway.

Guys,

Please.

This is the 50000000th thread made on this topic. (Although it is one of the politer ones)

There's not much we can do. Block them, report them if you must (although the staff are busy enough already) than move on. When chess.com tries to make arrangements to stop this, people complain that they are being punished for taking too much time to make their moves.

Agreed, but wont work for several reasons:

Members do not search to see if a question has already been asked.

Some members are to lazy to do the leg work themselves.

How people that play chess cant fathom the notion that people can take there time???

Society in general has a much shorter attention span.

People want instant gratification.

Having to wait 1 minute has become intolerable.
