Returning to the subject, all advertising is inappropriate on a chess site.

And if chess.com doesn't like us blocking it, so be it.

If you want the ultimate control over what your browser sends and receives, use uBlockorigin and uMatrix, the latter prevents ALL third party requests to your browser unless you specifically allow them.  Scripts, cookies, media, css, XHR, frames and any others.
