Possible leniency when time has elapsed

Recently I losed a game when my time elapsed.  And in the passed I have won 3 games when my opponent's time elapsed.  In all cases that I won in that way, I would have been prepared to say 'continue with the game if you want to', and also when I lost I am sure that my opponent would have done the same.  It does not seem that chess.com has a fascility for this?  A very few days to respond would be necessary, and there could be no obligation to do this by the loser, but would it be an idea to make this possible.  Maybe it is already possible and I do not know it? Yeah I like this idea. I think the rating change should still happen and any tournament results should take into account a loss on time, but there should be an option to continue the game unrated.

It, currently, exists.  You've just got to check a little box in your online chess settings.

Nice one, never noticed that.

If you have a paid membership the site automatically puts you on vacation, so you never lose a game on time, until your vacation time is used up. I think I have 3 months accumulated now, so I never worry about losing on time ;)
