Now, with the computers gone again (I hope temporarily only), right the first game against a human was a clock runner again. About 7 mins of stupid staring at the screen. I'm so tired of this.
@NelsonMoore : Thanks for the advice, but whenever I tried I couldn't find anyone to play these non-standard time controls. Will try again, however.
A couple of days ago, after the "Komputers" had been removed from live play, I switched to playing human opponents. Result: All sorts of weird stuff happened, in at least half of the games. Some disconnect after a blunder, many let the clock run down, some reconnect after an eternity just a few secs before the disconnection timeout elapses. The one guy who as obviously as helplessly tried to cheat with an engine (5 mins for 3. Bg5 or sthg.) almost was an enjoyable change.
What is so fkn hard about clicking the resign button?!
This is no fun at all! - At least as long as chess.com is unable to really enforce fair play policy: I want the Komputers back!, at least for unrated games.
Unbelievable that about half of the users of this site appear to be such poor losers.
Btw, seems to be a freebies-only phenomenon, according to my experiences.
