Winning on time

Hi,

Maybe the winning on time should be claimed by the winner and not automatically performed when the time is up?

Sometimes very interesting games end because of the time, and the experience of a great game ends in a great disappointment.

Just give the winner on time the option to decide if they wanna win by time or keep waiting.

About tournaments, where others depend of the game, the winning should be still automatic.

what do you say?

You can turn off "automatically claim wins on time" in your settings. You will then not win automatically, but only when you choose to accept the win-otherwise you can wait. And yes, this setting is ignored for tournament and team match games.

Excellent.

Yes Gabriel, I've often thought the same thing

Thanks Pichiko, I'll be changing my settings today!

But my setting is not set to claim wins on time, and the system just gave me a win anyway (against a cool guy in Cuba I wanted to keep playing).  And there are a couple other games I have now in similar situations, in which I could claim a win, and they're just sitting there, and I think they've been sitting there just as long or longer than that one was.

Anyway, joriz, buen partido, que regrese pronto caballero.

I would guess the logic is different when your opponent closes their account.

Well, this is all I have gotta say.  Thank god for the time control.  I would probably lose 90% of my games if there was no clock.

TadDude, sure enough, I hadn't realized he closed it.  Just clicking on his name once was not enough to see that.

play with increment haha.  time is a part of the game, unfortunately.  :)
