Do tournaments ever complete?

ableman42

I'm in 5 tourneys, and all of them except one are 70-75% complete in the initial group, but have been stuck there for at least a month...

Is this normal? Once the group is complete does the tourney progress with a trimming down of the groups?

I enjoy playing in tourneys, but I don't want to sign up for others if these "stalled" ones are suddenly going to kick back up.

Yes, some tournaments drag on for years.

This one has been going on since 2010.

Only a few months :-), the thing is it's been stuck where it is for over a month.

I wish there was a way to know how long it might be until the next round of any given tournament.

It's a sport which not only requires an iron will but a pair of iron buttcheeks (read: patience and perseverance) as well.
