Actually, I think if you lose your last game, you will both tie for 1st. The Online tourneys are knockouts and for placement purposes, for the top players, the only thing that matters is the result of the last round. The previous games and overall tourney score don't go into the calculations for placement.

To beat a player 3 of 4, have a better winning percentage over the course of the tournament and still come in 2nd place because his score is a half point higher ?
How does this happen ? He plays 4 extra games over the 6 rounds.
The final game is going on right now and I'm suffering a weak position. If I lose, then the scenario I describe plays out.
