Normally when your rating increases during a tourney, you stay in the same group you were in at the start; if your rating had increased before the tourney started, you would have been moved to a new group.
Rating Increased during Round 1 of Daily Tournament

Hi everyone, perhaps this question has been brought up before... I'm competing in the 39th Chess.com daily tournament in the 1201-1300 rating category because when the tournament started my rating was in that range. In the many months since the tournament's commencement my daily rating has risen well above 1300. Round 1 is finally coming to an end. Will anything change because of my higher rating?
If this has already been answered, kindly point me in the right direction. Thank you!
