Hi All,
I've been monitoring this website for tickets from round 10 onward but they are never available:

Has anyone being able to buy any tickets, do you have any recommendation?
Many thanks

I’ve never been to a chess event so badly organised. For £55 you get a half hour ticket, stand in a queue, get to sit on a bench (not even a seat) where you have hardly any view of players. Then after half hour a message flashes up that you have to leave. This is so the next lot of people can crowd in.
Then you have to go and get another ticket, queue up to get back in for the next slot you could get.
Appalling, imagine having to do that at a football match, there would be a riot.

Are you serious. What a shame!
By the way, it is worth it to purchase the 12-month online pass for $25.
How many tournament do they actually organize in a year?
Can we also watch past tournaments, e.g. archived official videos of the Magnus-Caruana matches?

The rooms where you could watch the coverage weren't great either, were they? The one I was in (opposite the "restaurant") had small chairs packed too close together, and although the television was a good size it wasn't high enough, so that it was difficult to see the a and b ranks of the diagram.
On the other hand there was plenty of room set aside for people to play chess, for which they provided the official sets and boards - which were also on sale in an adjoining room.
A friend and I went to round five two weeks ago or so - and apart from the queue to get in, the mafiosa-style security (lots of shaven-headed Eastern European-looking guys (and gals) on every corridor), the queue at reception, the narrow corridors, the time slot system for the live play and a poor view of the protaganists and the way-too-small analysis room with Judit and Anna - it was fine ...

Deadly serious Mofai, I saw one move in that half an hour. I have asked for a rebate. I think there is a trade description issue here. I thought I was buying tickets to watch the world championship, not a half hour slot.

Yeah, and you can watch it at home on a screen anyway, that is not why people buy tickets to events.
We were shown into the room where Judit Polgar was by the security guard and literally had to climb over peoples legs to get to the seats it was so crowded. at least there were seats and not benches like in the auditorium I suppose.
I sound like a right moaner, and usually I never do, but this was so badly organised..
Oh well, don’t want to spend the match complaining! Will just enjoy the coverage elsewhere...
I watched the first round on St Louis Chess club’s YouTube channel. They briefly had Kasparov on as a guest... and who doesn’t like Yasser!
Despite not being able to see the players play I’d recommend it to anyone whose looking for coverage and analysis of the game as it progresses. They’ll be having a few other top players on as guests throughout the match too.
However, avoid if you don’t like live computer analysis!
