CoronaVirusPandemic

Hi sinners and lawbreakers, my online name is Sunshine, I'm a sophomore in high school and a proud child of God. He is the only one I serve. He came to earth to die for you and me, simply because He loves us! When Jesus died on the cross he was thinking of you. I love Him with all my heart and hope you do as well! I am looking forward to the day I will meet me King face-to-face! Waiting to worship my King in Heaven for all eternity!

I am homeschooled and a part of Classical Conversations (I’m in Challenge 2 right now). I play violin and viola (started learning when I was 5). Some of my favorite hobbies consist of swimming, surfing, reading, cooking/baking, playing viola, texting with friends, watching movies, and most importantly of all, reading the Bible!

I am blessed to live in a Christian family with Godly parents. I clearly remember one afternoon when I was riding in the car with my dad to Costco. He talked about Jesus and how, if I put my trust in Him and repented of my sins, I would be forever saved. I believe that was the day I put my trust in Jesus Christ! Although I was just 4, I have grown stronger in my faith as a Christian and by God’s grace, hope to continue to grow in Him. May God bless you!

God is always there. Next to you. Holding your hand. Hugging you. Holding you. He wants you to find rest in Him. To find comfort, in Him. Go to Him. Rely on Him. You are okay. I believe in you. I know you can do this! Just try to fight...for me and God will help you.

O Captain! My Captain!

By, Walt Whitman

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,

The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is won,

The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,

While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;

But O heart! heart! heart!

O the bleeding drops of red,

Where on the deck my Captain lies,

Fallen cold and dead.
...

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;

Rise up -- for you the flag is flung -- for you the bugle trills,

For you bouquets and ribbon'd wreaths -- for you the shores a-crowding,

For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;

Here Captain! dear father!

This arm beneath your head!

It is some dream that on the deck,

You've fallen cold and dead.

...

My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,

My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will,

The ship is anchor'd safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,

From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;

Exult O shores, and ring O bells!

But I with mournful tread,

Walk the deck my Captain lies,

Fallen cold and dead.

Church is my college. Heaven is my university. Father God is my counselor. Jesus is my principal. Holy Spirit is my teacher. Angels are my classmates. Bible is my textbook. Temptations are my exams. Overcoming Satan is my hobby. Winning souls for God is my assignment. Receiving eternity is my degree. Praise and Worship are my slogans. If you are a child of God bless you!” -BEN CARSON

"The Bible is a wonderful book. It is the truth about the Truth. A sermon taken from the Bible can be a wonderful thing to hear. It is the truth about the truth about the truth. But it is not the Truth. There have been many books written about the things contained in the Bible. I have written some myself. They can be quite wonderful to read. They are the truth about the truth about the truth about the Truth. But they are NOT the Truth. Only Jesus Christ is the Truth. Sometimes the Truth can be drowned out in a multitude of words."

"If" for Girls
 By Joe McEvoy

"If you can hear the whispering about you,
And never yield to deal in whispers, too;
If you can bravely smile when loved ones doubt you,
And never doubt, in turn, what loved ones do;
If you can keep a sweet and gentle spirit
In spite of fame or fortune, rank or place,
And though you win your goal or only near it,
Can win with poise and lose with equal grace;

...

If you can meet with Unbelief, believing,
And hallow in your heart a simple Creed,
If you can meet Deception, undeceiving,
And learn to look to God for all you need;
If you can be what girls should be to mothers:
Chums in joy and comrades in distress,
And be unto others as you'd have the others
Be unto you - No more, and yet no less;

...

If you can keep within your heart the power
To say that firm, unconquerable "No";
If you can brave a present shadowed hour,
Rather than yield to build a future woe;
If you can love, yet not let loving master,
But keep yourself within your own self's clasp,
And not let dreaming lead you to disaster,
Nor pity's fascination loose your grasp;

...

If you can lock your heart on confidences,
Nor ever needlessly in turn confide;
If you can put behind you all pretenses
Of mock humility or foolish pride:
If you can keep the simple, homely virtue
Of walking right with God - then have no fear
That anything in all the world can hurt you-
And - which is more - you'll be a Woman, dear."
