I like Gilmour better, though his lyrics can be kinda third-rate at times, as Waters described them in A Momentary Lapse of Reason.
My favorite Pink Floyd song is Learning to Fly.
I can't commit myself to that, because they both shaped Pink Floyd in the same way, as it were. Since the separation, although I own all Gilmour's albums and listen to them with great pleasure, I like Rogers Waters' music a bit better. And despite their problems with each other, their albums are peacefully united in my record shelf.
We all know, seperation among bands have always been very normal...as the chemistries do not last...or egos are too high !...some times groups do not last after the seperation, ( like Police ), some times they keep seperating and still good all parties ( such as Genesis )....often , there is friction among the top two contributors, and the top two talenst....such as again ( Phill Collins & peter Gabriel...John Lenon & Paul Mccartny ,...),...
