I learned chess from my older brother when I was about 8 years old.  I am now 63.  Lasker said, "Chess is a fight..."  I like to compete and match wits with others in chess competition.  I love the players of the long ago past such as Lasker and Capablaca but masters of attack such as Alekhine, Tal, and Marshall are a favorite of mine also.  I make my living as a full time rideshare driver for Lyft.  As for my other interests, I love to sing Karaoke, read in the area of psychology, and run/walk for fitness.  My cat is named Lasker after the former world champion.  However, he seems to just want to eat the pieces!  I guess that is his form of sacrifice!  See you on the chessboard...
