There is no shame in enticing your opponent into playing positional chess while mismanaging his clock. Some players like to point out that their position was winning after losing on time. That's like going beyond the time restrictions of a cooking contest and proudly declaring you made the better meal. A winning position with no time to win it, is a losing position.
