Playoffs

The TCMAC Gladiator S5 playoffs will begin following the conclusion of the group stage. The top four teams from each group will compete in a final round. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in the final round.

I’m trying to make sense of the playoff rules seen above. Surely you don’t mean the four group winners go into a playoff group where the winner gets gold and the other three teams nothing , while the original group runners up go through the same process for one silver medal, and the same for the third place teams going for one bronze.

Will we see our opponents in the first round on October 17th?

Don't worry. In the meantime, I've made changes to the playoff rules, which remain unchanged from last season, with a final round involving the top four teams from each group; For the round 1 pairings and the complete schedule for each group, please refer here:
