I read Hypermodern Chess, a book of Nimzovich's chess games, when I was 6, as a cheerleader. I read it again when I was 16, to learn something about chess. Now I'm here, and continuing to learn. I played a single tournament to a provisional USCF rating of 1740. None since. My proudest moment was achieving the only draw among 25 players in simul-chess with Semon Palatnik. Perhaps the future will bring more to be proud of.
