CHESS.COM IS NOW MY HOMEPAGE SINCE I ALWAYS FORGET TO LOG ON UNLESS SOMEONE MENTIONS THE WORD CHESS IN TEXT! NO MORE LOSSES ON TIME!!!!! (Insert Space Code Here) I started playing as a child, and within a year of playing I could dominate everyone in my family at the age of 9. Sadly, everyone except my uncle stopped playing me and I could not see him too often and none of my friends played. Thus I quit playing until I was a junior in highschool. I quickly beat everyone in my highschool's club, but was made 4th board since the coach while saying I was indeed a stronger player than them acted too sporadic and implusively, also I did not use any opening consistently and rather used random openings I believed the opponent would not expect. Within a year I became the city champion for my age group(when I was 17) and defeated a USCF player my age rated around 1700. Afterwards I went to college and rarely played chess as I was too busy studying for chemical engineering. Luckily, I am now in 2 majors that are more geared towards me(Neuroscience and Japanese) so after 4 years of near no play with any real opponents(I taught my brother how to play and he currently beats everyone in his age group at school, though his attention span and sporadic play is even crazier than mine) I have finally picked it up again around 2 months ago.
