My uncle taught me to play chess when I was 7 years old. I probably played less than ten games over the next 18 years. Around a month ago, I learned a friend of mine had downloaded a chess app for his phone. It ended up being the chess.com app, and the rest is history.
I'm still new enough that I don't really have a favorite opening, and could quite frankly not even name the vast majority of them. Instead of relying of line memorization or overall strategy, I tend to just wing it and hope for the best
