A chess table was a piece of furniture in our living room when I was growing up. Never got any real coaching, but saw and began to understand a lot of games.
So I've been playing chess on and off for about 45 years, mostly off. Lately have gotten into the internet chess thing now that there's quality interfaces like chess.com. Have met some *really* neat people here and have gotten a wee bit better at this game of kings.
Might set up a chess club here in Anacortes, and could use any suggestions.
