Learned chess from reading the "C" volume of an Encyclopedia Britannica at our dining room table at the age of 6 or 7. Forbidden to play the game by a dysfunctional family who threw away my 99c plastic set. Entered the U.S. Armed Forces at the age of 19 and never returned home again.
Always kept high interest and love for the game. Now that I've had a successful career in the working world and retired, I have the time to enjoy its many facets.
Good Luck to all chessplayers!
