I grew up in Elkhart, Ind. Have a BA in Pastoral Leadership from Newburgh Seminary, Newburgh, Ind. I pastor the Centre Avenue Church of God in Portage, Michigan. I used to be a bi-vocational (truck driver) pastor, but retired March 1, 2011. I have a beautiful wife from New Orleans, four grown children and nine grandchildren. I play chess because I enjoy it. It helps keep my mind sharp. I have played since I was 10. I am mediocre at best, but enjoy it anyway.
