I have long been intrigued by the art of Chess for quite a long time, reading books on Bobby Fischer, Spassky, Kasparov etc, and watching Chess documentaries.

However I never learnt the game until quite recently. I would say the biggest influences that got me started learning and playing chess were The Gza and The RZA from Hip-Hop group the Wu-Tang Clan.

They are both extremely talented Chess players, and Chess is a major influence on their lives and their music. GZA has an album titled 'Grandmasters'.

I am currently reading Chess books, and play games on Chess.com with my good friend Moses13.

I suffer from Depression, Social Anxiety and Panic Attacks. I feel that since beginning to learn and play Chess, the game has had a very positive and productive effect on my mind and thinking.

I definately think it is a wonderful tool for the mind, and the greatest 'board' game ever. Certainly one of the greatest activities one can get 'obsessed' by. I use the word 'obsessed' in a positive manner.

I am very happy that I found Chess.com as it is an all-you-need hub for all Chess fans and players alike.

Thanks for reading.
