AMDG.  If you are Christian, as am I, this will have meaning for your life.  As a follower of Jesus Christ, the book "Chess Devotionals: Thirty-One Meditations to Help Bring Play and Pray Together" by Norman Styers, Ph.D, has meaning for my life.  Among other things, he asks, "if God can and should be praised with trumpet and the tambourine, with the lute and with the flute, why not praise Him also with knights and bishops, with rooks and pawns?"  Why not indeed.

So I have taken on what I hope and pray is one of my "missions from God" and that is to inspire and encourage others (like Barnabas) that even as one ages, chess can be a lifelong, worthwhile avocation and you can improve and play well even when older.  Thus, I dedicate my games to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Whether I play well or poorly, win or lose, His will be done.

Be well friends.  AMDG!
