After a bad loss in October 2015 I hadn't played in DCCL league play until this past Friday Feb 7th 2016.

Most of my rated chess playing was done in high school and college 20 years ago. I played briefly in a few tournaments about 11 years ago in Houston Texas. In late 2009 I just started playing tournament chess again.
I like players who are willing to take risks and think outside the box.: Morozevich, Larsen and Shirazi are some players I appreciate.
I was fortunate to draw GM Sergey Kudrin when I started back in Nov 2009 at the National Chess Congress in Philly.
