The all-conquering Baden-Baden team had already secured victory in the German chess league, the Schachbundesliga, on Friday, but with two more match victories this weekend they scored a remarkable season whitewash - winning all fifteen of their matches!
Baden-Baden defeated Eppingen 6½-1½ and Hockenheim 5½-2½ to complete an eighth successive title in style.
Their nearest scrape was their 4½-3½ win against rivals Mülheim in the 5th round of the season.
