Evening Activities – Tournaments on Chess.com: Tuesday and Thursday’s evening activities are tournaments on Chess.com. Tuesday’s format is a bullet tournament, and Thursday’s format is a blitz tournament. Both tournaments will be organized within the Southern Arizona Chess Association’s Chess.com club and will be open to camp participants and all members of the Southern Arizona Chess Association’s Chess.com Club. You have been added to the SAZ Chess.com Club which you will see on your Chess.com Clubs page. You will need to login to Chess.com before 4:30 pm PDT and login to Live Chess: https://www.chess.com/live. Click on the tournament tab to find the tournament you will join. You must click on the JOIN button to be paired for the tournament. Please be sure to login and join the tournament at least 15-20 minutes prior. The tournaments begin exactly at 4:30 pm PDT. The Thursday night blitz is sponsored by both the National Chess Camp and Southern Arizona Chess and has a prize fund of $120 in Amazon gift cards.
