A. Realization of material advantage in the middlegame
The player with the material advantage must strive to simplify the position and move into a winning endgame.
In the middlegame, an extra pawn or even a piece is not so important as it is in the ending. When there are many pieces on the board and queens have not been exchanged, you have to be constantly on the alert. Can blunder an unexpected tactical blow or even get mated. In the endgame, it is more difficult for the weaker side to set up complications. The fewer pieces on the board, the higher the strongest hand the chances of winning.

Tips:
1. Activate the king.
2. Change pieces, not pawns.
3. Don't forget about centralization.
4. Guard your pawns.
5. Eliminate risk of draw, bypass unclear positions.
6. Strive to move from an unclear game ending to known to you that is theoretically winning.
Remember!
The chances of a draw in the endgame increase in the following cases:
a) the exchange of all pawns, even by sacrificing a minor piece;
b) the presence of opposite-colored bishops.
Consider a simple example in which White wins.
The white pawn threatens to become a queen, but black has an excellent defensive resource
In the example, White has three extra pawns, but can not win.
In the position White wins easily when it is White`s move, and draws when it`s Black's move.
