Co-leaders Georgia and Armenia drew their 6th round match at the Khanty-Mansiysk Olympiad to share the lead.

Joining them at the top, thanks in no small part to Vassily Ivanchuk, are Ukraine who defeated previous joint-leaders Hungary.

Ivanchuk (pictured) beat Peter Leko to take his personal tally to 5 wins out of five games so far!

In less good form is Magnus Carlsen who lost another game, this time to English #1 Michael Adams.  Carlsen chose a very eccentric opening and lost badly.  It seems that he may be human after all!  Thank goodness he has just started a second career as a model! Wink

The only team left with a 100% match record is Russia 1 in the women's competition.  They notched up a crucial win 2.5-1.5 against Ukraine to take the sole lead.

Round 7 is taking place today, with the very latest information available at the official site
