Jennifer Yu is an American woman grandmaster and the U.S. women's champion in 2019 and 2022. In 2004, Yu won the gold medal in the Girls U-12 section of the World Youth Chess Championship—the first American female player to do so in 27 years. She earned her WGM title in 2018 and reached her peak FIDE rating of 2379 that same year.
