3/9/13:  Yay:  My rating finally over 1000 for the first time ever (except for the initial starting rating).

I joined this site in 2011.  First game: 9/13/11.

I joined this site to play chess. I had not played for many, many years, but then saw a TV show that caused me to be interested again. I am not good, but I hope you will play me anyway. If we are in a game, I will try to respond quickly. If it becomes obvious that I have lost, I prefer to resign and request a rematch, but if you want me to play out, I will continue to do so making my best effort to the end. Please feel free to tell me when I make a dumb move. Please give me the benefit of the doubt--if you see something that you think is rude, or unkind, please assume it was not intentional. Ask me what I meant, or why I did it.
