Problem ID: 0194718
Unblelievable, I saw this and for some reason I got distracted about the black pawn being so close to promotion and went to defend it. Should have gone for my first instinct.
Enough with the En passant tactics. I think we get it.
There's no e.p. in this puzzle.
Look closer. You'll see it soon enough.
Ah, I see you're a troll. You're doing the same thing on problem 155342 and problem 34169 with the false e.p. thing. Moving on....
/cheer for Ticklefist! (he's funny and it helps to laugh sometimes because chess can be frustrating if you get too serious imo).
Didn,t see it.
Doesn't Kd1 b4 achieve the same?
Yes, it does, i went for that as well
Tricky and I missed it:) Always look for the pawns.
Get the King into the mating box. Saw it.
What a great puzzle. The first one I ever used the solution button on. I was so focused on that pawn.
Argh, twice in a row I solve a problem that has less than 50% pass rate, but get minus points for being too slow. Gotta speed it my thought process.
Made the wrong second move, was sloppy.
Did it right and looked for the mate rather than my pawn promotion or prevention of the opponent's pawn promotion.

Missed the second move. Saw my error once I made the move.
