I had promised myself that I would see this tournament through to the end. However, due to some changes in my work situation, I know I won't be able to do justice to my Round 3 games. Accordingly, I am withdrawing. Best of luck to everyone in the final round.
I have to withdraw. Good luck in Round 2.
There are two games remaining in Round 1. It looks like they are in the middlegame so it could be a while.
Helloooooooooo...... Is there anybody body out there?! Is this tournament ever going to start again?
3 timeouts now. I may win the tourn without making a move! Wow!
I've had 2 timeout wins of my 4 games. Is anyone taking this tourn seriously? That is really annoying. How can someone not make a move in a week??
Am I understanding correctly that the second game against an opponent doesn't start until the first game is completed? If so, what is the rationale for the games not being concurrent?
LOL - good point. This could be be a loooooooong tournament! :-)
On the plus side, it is quite a high-rated event. Do higher rated players move quicker?
What are the arrangements for the second round....22 qualifiers ? I know that at seven days per move and one game at a time we may not be there until 2013 - but I am worried now !!
Pirc - 150 Attack
