Nice to meet you, I'm Aron .

I am a full-stack web developer and lifelong chess player. Currently, I work as a Software Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer at Google, and previously a Software Engineer at Stripe and Amazon. I graduated in 2021 from Imperial College London with a Masters in Aerospace Engineering.

I have been playing for more than 20 years, and have been trained by multiple 2600-2700+ grandmasters throughout my career. Here are a few of my highlights:

Winning the Malaysia National Chess Championship in 2013
Becoming a FIDE Master
Playing in the 2014 Norway Olympiad

Most recently, I have really enjoyed playing Bughouse!

When variants was first introduced here, I played as many as I could, reaching 2300+ on Atomic, my favourite, 2200+ on Fog of War, and 2100+ on 3-Check and Giveaway. 2000+ on a lot of other variants.
