Hello, my name is Ethan Lyu, and I am currently a student at Stanford University. I am a United States Chess Federation Expert with a peak USCF rating of 2127, and have won 5 state-level championships in the state of Michigan. I have played chess competitively for 9 years, and have coached students for 5. I have taught individual lessons over the board and virtually, and I have also taught in group settings at chess camps. Many of my students have gained over 500 rating points since beginning lessons with me.
