Hello chess friends!

I am available for online lessons.

My name is Máté Egresi, I am 20 years old. I am studying to be a maths and physics teacher, I  started my third year in September. I am a FIDE Master from Hungary, I earned my title in December 2016.

Since 2011, I have been working with a young and ambitious Hungarian GM who helped me raise my rating by about 400 points.
I play 1.d4 with White and usually play 1...d5 against 1.d4 and 1...c5 or 1...d6 against 1.e4. However, I can also help you in openings I don't play.

I have been teaching students since the age of 14. Up to now, I have usually taught small groups of kids from age 6 to age 15.
A few years ago, I started to prepare my older brother (who is weaker than me because he is not as serious about chess as I am) for every game which meant for him about 200 elo (from 1750 to 1950) in a half year.

For a long time, I have been proud of only my defensive skills. However, recently I have started to develop my attacking skills at full pelt. In my opinion, I am quite balanced now.
I decidedly like endgames most and know most theoretical positions and general rules. However, I think I am at the master level at openings and in the middlegame too.

I would like to use Skype for the lessons (except if you are living near me and we can meet in person).
As I mentioned above, I am studying to be a teacher and I have learned a lot of useful things at the university. For example, my lessons are always interactive because I like to test my students' understanding with tricky questions.

The rate of a 60-minutes lesson is 20$.
