Some of my hobbies include playing chess and variants, listening to music, watching and playing sports especially table tennis, making chess puzzles and variants, solving chess puzzles and much more.

I have a long backstory with variants. I used to main variants and hate chess, because it felt ‘boring’ for me with all the ‘good’ chess openings either relying heavily on theory or just being a position I don’t like playing.

But ‎I’m starting to like chess more nowadays. I learned it the hard way that you need to play longer time controls before you can improve in bullet. That’s why I started grinding blitz and then bullet again to get 2000 bullet at 13th of October, and 19 days later 2100 bullet at 2nd of November… It feels awesome.

I was maining Bughouse for a while but now I think I will start my real chess grind, no matter how boring or slow it is. I’m starting to understand that variants won’t gain me anything in the long term run which is sad because I think that variants are such a fun addition to the game we all know and play for years. You just can’t make a living out of it or they aren’t appreciated enough in the chess community. This doesn’t necessarily mean I will completely stop playing variants though…

My favorite time control is currently 30 sec in chess, 2 | 0 in Crazyhouse, 3 | 0 in Bughouse and 3 | 2 in Atomic.

Other than regular chess, I like custom variants and sometimes spend my free time making custom variants which honestly are awful.

I also like making chess puzzles or atleast, I did. I used to make puzzles in my free time but I’m not currently doing that anymore. Or atleast, not as often.

Still I make puzzles sometimes and I can make a puzzle for you. Maybe for something like a blog, or just for fun. Just ask me and we’ll get started.
