Hi there! I’m Miles Griffin, the founder of CHESSQUARES and a lifelong student of the game. I specialize in personalized, 1-on-1 online coaching designed to help players build real confidence, strengthen their calculation and visualization skills, and understand chess on a deeper level—all while having fun playing the game they love.

My teaching style is patient, practical, and light-hearted. I meet every student exactly where they are—whether they’re learning the basics, trying to break into competitive tournament chess, or aiming to push toward expert-level strength.
