A better theme for this puzzle is white to play and win. It is obvious that by moving the bishop out of the way of the king then white mates in 2 moves (...Be7+ Kf4 2. Re7++ ) unless black sacrifices queen or plays 1... Qf5. So the puzzle then becomes Bh3 or Be6 to anticipate Qf5?
Black should have tipped the king; one queen and a pawn 3 rows from promotion is no match for rook-bishop pairs.
1... qxf2+ derails this poorly constructed "puzzle"
If 1...Qxf2+ mate will occur one move quicker than the puzzle solution. The simplest line would be 1...Qxf2+ 2. Kxf2 c3 3. Be5 c2 4. f4#.
can explain why black will move queen c2-f5? If i am playing, will move queen d2
Lets see here. This is allegedly a game position where Black is nearly the equivalent of a Queen down and immediately puts the Queen en prise with no real tricks such as stalemate if captured or forced pawn promotion? Why not 1.. 1-0 ?
Exactly my point...
